So there’s all of these tastes, colors, and smells that I associate with spring in our area. For my family, coming regularly to the market helps us to stay in tune with the change of seasons. Our yearly rhythm is supported by eating and enjoying what our Pacific Northwest earth produces.
Here’s one of our favorite treats: Fresh Mint Tea
Lula eating the herb that gives the tea its name.
So we just take some fresh mint sprigs and add hot water. My kids love this. Sometimes we add a littleĀ honey It’s beautiful. And it can be consumed at any temperature, which is great at this time of year where spring can mean a whole range of temperatures!
